Dr. Peter Colosi’s Talk – June 29th – 7PM

 

Dr. Peter J. Colosi is an associate professor of philosophy at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. Before coming to Salve Regina he taught moral theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, PA (2009 – 2015) and philosophy for Franciscan University of Steubenville at their program in Gaming, Austria (1999 – 2007). Dr. Colosi received his doctorate in philosophy from the International Academy of Philosophy in the Principality of Liechtenstein, an MA in Franciscan Studies from St. Bonaventure University and a BS in Mathematics from Franciscan University.

Dr. Colosi is the co-founder and co-organizer of a series of International Symposia on St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. The TOB International Symposia have been in Gaming, Austria (2007), Maynooth, Ireland (2009), London, UK (2011), Fatima, Portugal (2013) and Kerkrade, Netherlands (2019). As an associate member of the Catholic Medical Association, Dr. Colosi has written and presented on topics of medical ethics from a Catholic perspective at the CMA’s annual summer program for medical students and residents and in their various publications.
