Monsignor Thomas J. Richter is the Pastor of Queen of Peace Church in Dickinson, ND. Prior to that, he served as the Rector of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.  He was ordained a Priest of Jesus Christ on June 13, 1996 at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. He was honored with the title of Monsignor, Chaplain to His Holiness, on November 19, 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI. On February 10, 2016, Pope Francis commissioned him as a Missionary of Mercy for the Jubilee Year.

Msgr. Richter served as Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Bismarck for eleven years.  During that time, he served on the Executive Board of the National Conference of Diocesan Vocation Directors. Msgr. Richter is the author of three booklets; Is Jesus Calling you to be a Catholic Priest, Lend Your Own Voice to Christ and Integrated Evangelization.
